GENERAL BACKGROUND OF THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COMPANY (IBC)
The Belize International Business Company Act of 1990 offers and entity called an International Business Company (IBC). This entity is a company that requires the minimum of administrative duties and has low statutory running costs. It compares very favorably with other Caribbean jurisdictions and permits asset protection and tax minimization at competitive rates.
ADMINISTRATION
A company cannot be an IBC if it carries on business with residents of Belize, owns real estate in Belize, carries on business as a Bank or Insurance Company or provides a Registered Office for other Companies.
